We drove to the Disney gates to meet some family. It was hot. Our cheeks were red, our clothes sticking to us, ready to melt in the August heat. Why were we out in a bazillion degree weather? Good question. I really don't know.

So we moved the party to the fountains at Downtown Disney.

Jack seemed to have a knack for staying dry. He weaved in and out of the water streams, barely a drop touching him. He would look down the holes and leave before the water shot out.

But his luck did not last for long. When he was first blasted with water, he seemed almost shocked. He looked at me like, "FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY, WHAT JUST HAPPENED??"

They had a great time.

Until it was time to go home and they complained they were too cold to bear life anymore. So like the sweet mom I am, I told them to suck it up and remember the poor Florida pioneers who didn't have Disney fountains. Then they asked if I would buy them a Disney sweatshirt. I told them for $50 heck no.

I am the best mom ever.

Jack, giving us a preview of his gut in thirty years.
